Laminate

Laminate is an engineered panel finish available in a wider range of colours and patterns than any natural wood option. It is particularly useful for facilities with specific brand or team colour requirements that fall outside what wood tones can deliver, or for spaces where consistent colour across a large installation is a priority.

The finish is uniform by design – there is no variation between panels, no aging or patina over time. A laminate locker room looks the same in year ten as it did on installation day.

Appearance

Modern laminates range from solid colours to woodgrain textures. Surface finishes vary from smooth to embossed. The appearance is clean and predictable. Under close inspection the printed surface reads differently from real wood grain, but at normal viewing distances the distinction is less pronounced, particularly with higher-grade laminates.

Laminate excels in environments where colour precision matters – matching a specific brand blue or integrating with an existing colour system is straightforward in a way it is not with natural wood, which has inherent variation. It also suits spaces where the finish is expected to look the same throughout a long service period.
