Mahogany

Mahogany is a deep reddish-brown finish with fine, uniform grain. It is the darkest and most formal of the wood options, and it reads as a deliberate choice in any space – the kind of finish that anchors a room rather than receding into it.

Unlike cherry, which develops its depth gradually, mahogany arrives already rich in tone. The finish does not change dramatically over time; what you select is largely what you get.

Appearance

The grain is fine and consistent, with subtle natural figure that gives the surface depth without being busy. The colour range is deep reddish-brown to near-chocolate depending on the stain selected. It photographs with presence, particularly in lower or warmer lighting.

It suits formal environments more than high-contrast modern builds. Against bright whites or saturated accent colours it can feel heavy; in spaces with darker accents, richer lighting, or a formal intent, it carries the room without effort.
