Maple

Maple is a light, even-toned finish with subtle grain and a cream to pale gold colour range. It suits modern, high-contrast, and minimalist locker room builds particularly well – anywhere a clean wood tone is the goal rather than the focal point of the room.

The finish is consistent from panel to panel, without the pronounced variation of more figured species. That consistency is part of its appeal in contemporary builds where the locker room is designed around graphics, team colours, or architectural features rather than the wood itself.

Appearance

The grain is fine and understated. Colour sits in a cream-to-pale-amber range that reads as neutral under most lighting conditions. It works cleanly in high-contrast palettes with whites, greys, and bright accent colours, and it photographs without dominating the frame.

Against bolder palettes – especially bright whites and saturated team colours – maple recedes into the design in a way that cherry or mahogany would not.
