Solid Surface

Solid surface is a non-porous engineered material – typically an acrylic or polyester resin composite – with no grain, seams, or surface treatment. It is not a wood product and does not attempt to replicate one. The material is seamless and continuous, resisting moisture and bacteria without ongoing maintenance.

The non-porous construction makes it a practical choice wherever sanitation requirements are elevated: medical facilities, high-humidity environments, or spaces with rigorous cleaning protocols.

Appearance

Solid surface is available in a range of solid colours and stone-inspired patterns. The surface is uniform throughout its depth, which means minor scratches can be sanded out rather than requiring panel replacement. It does not chip to reveal a different substrate underneath.

The aesthetic is contemporary and minimal – closer to a commercial or clinical finish than a premium athletic one. It integrates cleanly with modern, high-contrast designs. In traditional or warm-toned spaces it can feel out of place alongside natural wood materials.
